While SGAs whistle is annoying af I do think this discourse is a bit overblown.
Castle has a very similar playstyle and we have complained about him getting an unfavorable whistle, if we ever want that to change its hypocritical to lean into the SGA merchant memes.

I saw both games last night and I can say I feel sorry for Okc fans. Obviously they’re gonna be loyal to their guy but omg, that game was such a snoozer, who tf wants to watch a dude shoot free throws all night?! We get to watch someone who doesn’t rely on refs to make an impact on both ends of the floor.
Last 5 games Wembanyama has 23 FT attempts while SGA has had 68 (25 of those last night)
Watching 25 ft attempts is so boring too. Extends the game by at least 20-30 minutes. We should not be encouraging this.
Compared to SGA, Wemby has him beat as MVP. My worry is Joker and Doncic

i watched the last quarter of the pistons game and it was awful when he subbed back in. he had like 3 actual nice buckets but the rest was 1/10 basketball to watch
