The Washington Nationals Continue Their Hot Start As Butera Ball Has CHANGED The Nats Approach

Washington Nationals showcase a rejuvenated, cleaner brand of baseball with Joey Wiemer’s historic on-base streak and Foster Griffin’s multi-pitch arsenal. Is “Butera Ball” the formula for a winning culture in D.C.? Ryan Clary highlights the Nationals’ improved base running, unconventional lineups, and aggressive defensive tactics under Blake Butera. The episode spotlights Luis Garcia Jr., C.J. Abrams, and the relentless Nats offense, dissecting the team’s success with runners in scoring position and the bullpen’s early dominance. Dylan Crews’ AAA struggles and a strategic opener against the Philadelphia Phillies spark questions about future roster choices and player development. Can the Nationals keep momentum and capitalize on their promising start?

  1. Weimer's only competition for playing time right now is Tena, Vivas, and Mead. Weimer, by far, gives us our best defensive alignment regardless of offensive match ups.

Weimer has a lot of rope to earn an everyday OF spot here.

  2. I’ve watched every one of his games against Jacksonville. Dylan Crews can’t hit breaking pitches and He keeps trying to pull everything, so when he’s pitched outside it results in weak grounders to third. I thought he was making progress because His single on Saturday was an outside pitch which he drove to right. But on Sunday he regressed and started to pull everything again. He can not hit breaking pitches. He struck out against a career minor leaguer who threw him a slider over the plate. All his hits came off career minor leaguers. He had two weak ground outs against Robby Snelling who’s a top 100 prospect and he didn ‘t fare any better against the pitchers with major league experience. If what Pierzynski says about him is true then the current coaching staff can’t help him and he’ll be a major bust.

  3. Yo My Brotherin!!!!! Butera ball, Wildin Lineups n pitcher STUFF!!!!, I'm glad we smashed sucka azz Philly. Lets capture the series tonight. Salute Comrade and Keep Prospering.
