25. Honestly, the worst part of this is nobody else wanting to lose.

    Also also, if this were last season, we’d comfortably be in a playoff spot. We’ve got 12 or so more points than we did last year.

    If the division weren’t such a clusterfuck, I think it’d be easier to appreciate the actual improvements.

    Edit: wife and kid vetoed me… fried bird and tater tots it is. But think of it this way, we’re eating some cooked bird and that’s what we’re hoping for tonight, some cooked birds (penguins)

40. While I absolutely want the wings to win, the positive from taking a loss is the Yzerplan and this current roster will be under the microscope and maybe some jerseys will be replaced in the offseason

42. This still pisses me off. We’re tied in points with more wins than Ottawa, and we’re still behind them in the standings because Ottawa has more regulation wins…but the only reason they are even tied in points is because of two more OT losses.

    This is the same way we lost out of a playoff spot to the Caps a couple years ago. The NHL really needs to fix this. WINS, whether regulation, OT, or shootout should always be the first tie breaker.
