[Pelissero] NFL owners just approved five rule changes, including the ability to permit the kicking team to declare an onside kick at any time during the game.
The refs change will probably end up being permanent. The NFL is increasingly becoming less reliant on on-field refs when sky judges are much better able to officiate, and this will cut out the middleman and save them money.
Can we have the NFL officiating Dept. correct clear and obvious misses for any official??? Not just possible replacement refs?
It’s all pretty lackluster.
Could try spotting the ball with technology.
Personally, I’d really like them to play around with the formation rules at the snap. Right now it’s really rigid. Defenses has improved- passing yards are down. Could relax some rules and get some more interesting offensive plays.
