“That’s the usual for me. The usual, all season. Come in, stand on my grind. I got a lot left in the tank. I don’t know if other people know that, but I know that. I can continue to prove that to people and go out there and show people I’m going to do that.”

“I done played in every scheme, ain’t no scheme I can’t play in, 3-4 to 4-3 to whatever damn scheme that you had. I think I done proved that I can play in them all and not just play in them, but also dominate in them schemes and do my job at a high level. I just came off a great season, looking forward to doing it again and, you know, continue to prove to people and show the balance.”

“They know I’m available. I walk in every year and play well on every scheme and every team I’ve been on. I want to continue to do that going into year 13. Showing people wrong and proving that I can still play at a high level. It don’t matter where I end up, where I play at, just know I’m coming to show you again and prove people wrong again.”

  1. He’d be a decent backup for the vet minimum, and it lets him retire as a Texan since he still lives here.

  2. Looks like I can change my fantasy football team name back to Insane Clowney Posse. Had to change it when he joined the Cowgirls. 😜

  3. What is with this sub and bringing up ghosts from the past who are just looking to get paid?

  4. Vet min as a rotation player, come home and put an exclamation point on the end of a career.

  5. Add Clowney, D-Hop and what the hell, maybe JJ comes out of retirement and Demeco becomes player/coach. Let the nostalgia tour begin!

  6. if the price is right he’s still a phenomenal run defender last i saw, and our edge position is better at pass rush. having him in the rotation for rushing downs or at least to have a solid dude out there to give either hunter or anderson a few reps of rest every once in a while would be beneficial if the money is right, especially with probably losing derek barnett in free agency.

having a true rotational edge is a really good thing to have with how all-out our defensive line seems to go every play.

  7. Every year he does a 1 year deal after training camp finishes. I think there’s zero chance he’s a culture fit.

  8. Be an excellent rotation piece with the news from Meco that Logan hall will play DT… they need a third DE with Barnett not resigned.

  9. Lol, he just doesn’t want to go to training camp. He always delays signing somewhere until it’s over whenever he has a chance. I think hes been to like, 3 camps his entire career.
