I’m hoping Tom can bring some much needed juice back into the organization, statements like this are a great start.
Actions speak louder than words. I hope this holds true.
I know it doesn’t mean anything, but the delusional part of my fandom sees the success that his Carolina Hurricanes have and I do start to feel quietly optimistic about this. We’ll see.
Wow, no big new hires or free agent signings? Sell the team so someone that cares Tom!!!
Need the draft pick for that.
Not bad for his first public statement
For the love of god get some three point shooting.
Sincerely,
Winning In The Modern NBA
I hope it’s true.
Let’s get our 2nd championship!
Bye Jody we hardly knew ya. Literally. You never spoke. Not ever. Not even once ✌️
Fire everyone.
Saving a screenshot now…..
Josh Schertz will be the next head coach of the Portland Trail Blazers.
Thank you chat GPT
CALEB LOVE $$$$$$ or bust
Thats what hes supposed to say…
Did you think he was going to come out and say” we have been a young team thats a couple years away from something special for the last 30 years, id like to keep doing what we have been doing”
I’ll hold my judgment until I see him making moves.
Inb4 DundonSlap
Bring them to the highest level….and then move away
Dun don Dunnnnnnnn
He makes no mention of the city or state’s support. Other than that, what I expected to see as first PR.
Hell yeah! LFG
KD incoming
Big trade for a first option?
It would be great if he concluded his statement with “there is a 0.0% chance the Blazers will leave Portland and the arena will be renovated and everything will be fine, so everybody just chill the fuck out”
Oh I just got really happy
I love the optimism. The guy seems like he wants to win even if he is a bit of a douche. Hopefully they don’t screw with too many of the young guys that are just starting to come around. I don’t want a guy in here who does with the Clippers and the Lakers do . constantly screwing around with the team and not letting things age and develop. We got a bunch of guys that aren’t even close to hitting their Prime yet. And remember the NHL is a completely different animal than the NBA.
