  1. I don't even like Wemby that much. He's highly intelligent, but sometimes a bit too arrogant and dismissive of other NBA players for me (admittedly some people like this about him). I'd definitely vote him for MVP if I had a vote however. I get league pass and view the Spurs often. It's simply impossible for anyone with any basketball knowledge to watch him and not think he is the most dominant player the league has seen in generations.

  2. SGA is the MVP period. Scottie Barnes is the DPOY! Wembanyama hasn’t played enough minutes like the reason why LeBron to not be qualified and enough games. We keep moving the goalposts to fit the narrative. So stop this nonsense. Yes Wemby is good yes but the minutes isn’t adding up.

  3. The chances of him winning MVP, playing less than 30 minutes a game, is impressively low
His defensive ability still makes him a. threat, but not likely
I'd have him second, behind SGA. If I were a voter, I'd have to go SGA.
If you want an MVP vote from me, I need more than 29 minutes

  4. It’s simple, if you had to win a series of games and you could pick 5 players out of the entire NBA or even any league on earth for that matter . Who would be your first pick, that’s the MVP.

  5. Bill Russell, if given modern training, would be a dominate player in the league today. He was a super strong giant, that will always have value and he could move well for his size. I’m not saying all great past players could come into the league today, but Bill Russell could learn to shoot if he needed to and would still have the instincts to pull down all the boards.

  6. … because Wemby is actually the most valuable player for any team this year. Without him, the Spurs would be Orlando. OKC would still be a VERY good playoff team — maybe a contender — w/o SGA.

  7. Harden is even worse defensively than Luka and he won one. Give me a break with this nonsense. Plus the lakers are winning despite Luka being „bad“ on defense.

  8. Didn’t Luka just hit a game winner against Murray and Denver Nuggets not too long ago. I don’t what Colin is yapping but the annoying part about him sometimes is how out of touch he can be.

  9. For 30 years, defense has literally not mattered at all for mvp. Harden, 2 Steve Nash, 2 curry, at least 1 of jokic, Russel Westbrook, dirk, etc. Everyone is always criticising luka’s defense but it just doesn’t matter for mvp
