“Micah Parsons can now potentially start to come back after week two (assuming Parsons starts on PUP). Previously, Parsons would have to wait to practice until AFTER Packers 4th game after recent updates.”

  1. That’s all fine and dandy, but please do not bring him back that early. Anything less than full health is too soon.

  2. No point rushing him back early in the season. Team needs to work on shit without relying on him anyways.

  3. After week 2? I want him back in preseason hunting down 3rd stringers. Hope this headline is just fake news.

  4. An extra slot is handy, but if we go by the old rules, Parsons doesnt hit the PUP list if they think he can play week 3. This basically just means someone like a Colin Oliver might be on the roster for 2 weeks instead of Parsons parking on the bench without being on the PUP list

  5. I remember hearing report after report of good news about Bakhtiari.

I’m not going to trust it until I see Parsons on the field looking like his old self.

I just don’t have it in me anymore to have faith in these situations.

It’s entirely possible that Parsons loses a step and is no longer elite.

If you aren’t willing to consider that, it will really hurt if it happens.

If it doesn’t happen and Parsons looks as amazing as ever, then you get to be pleasantly surprised.

  6. So, this headline is written as if any decision has been made to put him on PUP to start the season.
