Okay so I actually read the article and surprise, Novo’s cited sources are Emily Kaplan speculating on a podcast and Nick Kypreos also speculating with only one sentence mentioning that “the feeling in New Jersey” is that Fitz knows he’s on the hot seat.
CAN WE STOP sharing Novozinsky’s articles unless he actually had legitimate insider info to back up his pieces? I’m so over his negative slant to just farm clicks from all the doomers.
I’d actually be more pissed if he gets demoted than if ownership just did nothing at all. Demoting him is a no-balls move. Rip the fucking band-aid off already or sell the team.

remember last September when he said Luke Hughes wanted five years to match Jack’s contract ending and that was wrong.
remember when he tried to put Jack down for not playing before the Olympics and Quinn Hughes had to call him out and now he’s loving Jack again.
just last week he said Nemo is going to ask for more money than Luke when not one person has reported that not one.
he uses information from other “insiders” and then makes his own speculations based on that plus unrelated information and passes that off as his own insider scoop or fact.
we all so badly want Fitzgerald out (for good reason!), so of course he’s going to use that to generate clicks.
our beat reporters, for the most part, are just a circle jerk.
guys like Novo and Nichols would much rather beef with fans on twt versus doing any actual journalism.
Sunny would be my first choice. But I don’t want Fitz to be demoted to GM – I’d rather he be team president, with Sunny as a GM who doesn’t report to him.
It’s essential that Fitz not be the guy making our next draft pick.
