Can someone here please explain to me why so many people seem to assume we need a wide receiver like that? I feel like we’re pretty set with Tet and Coker at wr1/wr2 and some decent players competing for wr3
Just like everyone expected an edge rusher last year and they snagged Tet. Dan and Brandt are showing they are good at this and will completely surprise everyone. And nobody knows what’s going to be available at 19. My guess is that’s the reason why WR odds are so high is that BPA would likely be a WR given how the top of the draft will go and not 6 QBs take this year
People are so obsessed with making fetch (Bryce) happen.
I think some people on this sub would be happy if we spent every draft pick on wide receivers and OLine just to keep trying to put makeup on a pig.
If i was to take one of these, itd be corner at +850. There are 4 really good corners in this draft so there’s likely to be one at 19
BPA all the way. If that’s a receiver so be it. I wouldn’t be sour if he ended up as a OROY again.
Safety feels like good money
Receiver is a position where we are more solid than others and this is the 19 pick we’re talking about. I love that we signed Lloyd but this is still a pretty sick LB class for teams in our draft position. But mainly I wouldn’t place a bet haha, this team could do anything at 19.
Putting it all the chips on that bottom right corner. I don’t think they realized it, but they actually put three positions there – idiots! Whatever. WR is just one position where I get three chances? Their loss, my gain!
Id put a decent bet on safety cause i think they like theinemann
