I hope he actually understands how important he is to the team as an effort guy. He’s actually irreplaceable. He makes so much of this team click and work – I love watching him play in this role.

Energized Ayton and invigorated Hayes is 40-45 minutes a night of a legit NBA center…leaving 3-8 minutes a night for a small ball death lineup…The Playoffs could be very interesting contrary to whatever Chuck has to say.

Hopefully he maintains this and doesn’t revert back to his old ways in the playoffs
The conversation has been about LeBron finding a way to properly integrate himself after being out a couple games and watching Luka and Reaves succeed. But I genuinely think the real difference has been ayton. When we were balling at the beginning of the season, he was involved. Middle of the season he felt non-existent and that was our worst stretch. The mindset shift and humility has been huge and ironically has allowed him to be a bigger part of the offense (ball finds energy kind of thing). Hope he’s able to maintain this for the playoffs.
