1. They absolutely have squandered the last season of free Good Will and excitement they're going to get for decades. The 100th Season stuff did a lot of the heavy lifting when it came to filling the building. A playoff appearance would have calmed a lot of fans' concerns for several years, to say nothing about actually making Detroit a team that the next tier of players would be willing to play for. Instead they're pissing it away because most of these players can't supplement their middling talent with overwhelming drive.

2. Have fun guys. It was a fun season. I’m canceling FanDuel and getting AHL tv to watch and root for the griffins.
   Ps. FanDuel sucks ass anyway. You pay out the ass and get half the games

3. The day Steve Yzerman is no longer our GM will be like winning the Stanley Cup. This has been an abject disaster. Oh, and I pray we find a way to move on from Dylan "Kash Patel" Larkin this offseason.

4. It feels very bandwagon that everyone’s always worried about yzerman. At some point you have to blame players. Buffalo Philly both looked like the worst teams ever and somewhere down the line the players decided to play. Detroit has always played a sit back skill style which doesn’t work. And nobody has the drive to get shit done. They play like young frustrated kids and not hungry hard working players. Besides a few that play hard every night. It’s the team not the coach or the gm

5. What can McLellan do? Maybe coach the team to play a better style of hockey? Do you think he's completely blameless for the structure and habits they play with?

6. Elmer played better and just as well as our top 6.

7. Yzerman should have traded the lumbering oaf Simon and gave away Applesauce.

8. Gibson is back to old form at beginning of season, Wings can't score, Coach has no faith, terrible GM moves at deadline, time for another rebuild.

9. Todd dumps players into a blender and the results were the same. A milky watered-down product.

10. Brian. Going to the net with this bunch is futile at best. Out muscled out aggression. D zone the same. Our wingers will not jam gap control their D. We are small weak and inferior when teams enter playoff mode. Everyone! Stop giving this organization your money. Stay away from the poor pizza rink. For God sake! Yzerman is not there for success. He is managing the ownerships bottom line. $

11. I coached a bantam team with 6 benders and two girls in the St Louis Illinois area. We were in last place until playoff time. My players took time and space away. I taught them skill through positions. We beat everyone! Attitude and grit. Believe me. I had calls for USA Hockey telling me teams were complaining I had 2A players. I had to send in Birth certificates. My benders got better and my better players became 2A. Of course I'm an x player spent time in Canada. We even checked refs. Wings could learn something from a much tougher atmosphere regarding management.

12. Just flat out need to take an L. Cut Copp, Compher, Ras, Appleton, anyone that’s a free agent including Kane, let them walk, and force youth into the roster. Only sign dudes that are going to play like Debrincat and Seider

Sign Max Plante and put him in there. 52 points in 40 games. Martone debuted for the flyers yesterday and he had fewer points this year in the NCAA and is younger. I guess he’s 25 pounds heavier but whatever

25. The Penguins might not be that far ahead of the Red Wings in terms of skill, but we all know that skill doesn't necessarily make a team. Something about the Penguins this season has transformed and they've become more than the sum of their parts. The Wings play like a bunch of individuals who don't particularly want to be there.
