Cimini: “Don’t sleep on the possibility of Mougey trading for a veteran,” Cimini stated. “It’s already been an active offseason for wide receiver trades, and you’re talking about a GM who has made 12 player trades in a little over a year. Brian Thomas Jr. (Jacksonville Jaguars), Rashod Bateman (Baltimore Ravens), Quentin Johnston (Los Angeles Chargers) and Dontayvion Wicks (Green Bay Packers) have been mentioned as trade possibilities.”

  1. As a jags fan, I don’t understand why these Btj trade rumors are STILL around…it’s been debunked every single press conference and it’s so annoying it keeps coming up

  2. IF the Jets have an opportunity to trade back and acquire more picks, specifically if they get a 3rd rounder… I'd trade that for BTJ. I'm not trading a 2nd rounder. That's a negative.

  3. The Jags HC and GM stated multiple time they have never considered trading BTJ and in no serious talk with any team. All these rumors are from the teams that wanted BTJ. It going to cost Jets the #16 and 2027 1st rd if the Jets want him

  4. I think realistically, they’re going to draft a young player. The only way to figure out AD is to get him WR 2 targets with this offense. If we bring in another receiver at wr2 at the expense of a pick what was the point in even including AD in that trade

  5. Ian, I LOVE the idea of trading back from 16 into the 20’s and hopefully recouping a 3rd rnd pick, THEN using our pick in the 20’s for KC Concepcion!! That dude is electric!!

  6. I agree, 16 should be a WR w/ out a doubt but… since Tate will be gone & if Lemon & Tyson are off the board as well, they have an option here, maybe one of those BPA’s falls to us ( ex. Downs or McCoy) 😮 or we can take the TE Sediq or the best option IMO is to trade down into the 20’s, pick up a 3rd rd. pick and take a Cooper, Boston, or KC Concepcion. Or even Malichi Fields later on. This guy is a beast and we’d be lucky to get him late 2nd round. He’d compliment Wilson pretty well.. Go Jets!!

  7. Rate my mock: keep in mind I traded away Stephans and Sherwood and acquired 🤫 someone underrated drop your comment and grade below ⬇️

    2# Reese ED Ohio State
    18# Simpson QB Alabama
    33# Cooper Jr WR Indiana
    97# Neal CB Arkansas
    ⚜️Acquired QB S. Rattler in a trade ⚜️
    140# Murdock LB Buffalo
    228# Pounds OT Ole’Miss
    242# O’Neil ED Rutgers

  8. Ian. Your expert thoughts. and if Moogey can swing this, he is a genius. #2 Arvell Reese. If Downs slides past pick 5, have Moogey Bundle #16 and #33 to move up to grab him at any number. That gives us 2 impact young cheap talents with absolute leadership on the defensive side of the ball. This leaves us with #44 in Rd 2. Take that and trade down, to still have a lower #2, but add an additional 3rd or 4th rd pick (to recoup our trade up for Downs). Possible Draft Jadarian Price at RB at the end of Rd 2 (Trade Breece and his contract for any 3rd or 4th rd pick), and then do BPA for the rest of the picks… and still have 3 #1s next year. Back take a stab with Beck QB in rd 4 as the QB flier….?

  9. To many WR in the class to trade for one rn. Plus two on the market still that would be worth it. We are still in a rebuild. Why invest a pick plus someone who is on his third year and by next year we may be getting ready to pay again. Not worth it IMO.

  10. If I am the Jets' management, I am using my top 4 picks to trade down and get 6 picks in the top 48 to draft all O and D linemen and one WR. We are not in a position to win more than 5 games. Miami is trying not to win one game. I hope we do the same. Chris Brazzell II late 2nd or 3rd round pick with great hands and speed. His only issue is his weight. We can get Jeff Caldwell in the 5th or 6th round.

  11. Wicks is the only one i think im on board for. I dont like johnstons stone hands, something is going on with BTJ thats just unsettling.. i think id rather just draft one… but if i had to choose of the names given here, its wicks for me

  12. I feel that BTJ is a bit of a question mark. Us trading him would be the same as drafting a WR2. I feel that if Coen can not make it work with what makes it seem that he can work here. I had him on my fantasy team, and I saw his play weekly, and he was almost a non-facfor.

  13. 1) He complements G5
    2) How many proven 1,000+ yard WRs have we had the past 10 years?
    3) Including his 5th year option, he’ll be making 3/$25M over the course of this contract. So G5 at $30M ARR and BTJ at $8M ARR? Yes, please

  14. Happy with Lemon or Concepcion, BTJ would be a good pick up but its hard to see the Jets trading for a WR at this point. Long way to the draft lol.

  15. 6’ 2” 225 4.4 speed and production to boot why is no one talking about Chris Bell a ACL is no big deal anymore he should be mentioned before Conception, Boston, etc…
