If you’re not part of the 79 percent you’re selling yourself short 🤣
I mean, it’s all dog shit teams on this list so it feels pretty accurate
And most of them are correct
Not hard to be “smarter” than the Gm if you’ve been a Cardinals fan for a while!
Keim would be 100%
I’d rather have people back up the talk with posting who they would have drafted live for this coming draft and then retroactively comparing (excluding trades).
I think it’d be a fun experiment to pull and see what’s true in reality.
For instance, I know Ossefort has me beat for sure with his Michael Wilson and Garrett Williams picks because I’ve never liked gambling on post-injury players but they’ve both looked good from time to time.
I think we’d all win by default simply by not tampering and losing the team an important high value pick to talk to Gannon early when there were no other open coaching positions. Having that, and failing to get even a 7th round pick for Hopkins, be what started his GM career always left a bad taste in my mouth, suggested a lack of attention to detail. I want a GM who knows the rules inside and out, and is squeezing every low value pick he can out of every player he could have just released.
Honest question, how do they even measure this? Like, what’s stopping this from being a random made up bullshit statistic?
Let’s be honest… The Bidwill family is the problem and always has been. Monti can’t exactly build a team with a prepaid gift card that can only be used on odd numbered Thursday’s and cannot be used for anything that is on sale.
In AZ we know
Other than Drob reach his drafting has been logically sound, and his FA activity could genuinely be influenced by Bidwill. Strictly a wins/losses results based sentiment
🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
I’m pretty sure this subreddit could run our draft better than Monti.
Here is my take on what to do with the 3rd pick: Take Francis Mauigoa if you want offense and David Bailey if you want defense. What Monti will do: Trade back and then take Spencer Fano and then miss on the acquired picks.
80% of Americans smarter than a rich guy with education 😭😭😭 no chance
While I’m at like a C with Monti and I think this is a make or get fired year for him. I think the GM here generally is handcuffed because Bidwill is here. He’s in charge and I don’t know how many decisions are actually like 100% made by the GM.
I’m surprised the Raider aren’t higher.
It’s hard to believe anyone could do worse.
Jesus having a higher % than Jerry is wild
I think most fans think that being a GM means only drafting or trading players. I think what many fans fail to take into account is managing cap space, signing players, how much to guarantee or not, and doing this for the 53 players on the roster, then the practice squad, scouts, and the coaches.
Drafting and trying to get free agents is the fun part. Being able to smartly maintain and negotiate contracts to be within or under cap space is the difficult part.
99% of our fans do not have GM experience, and Madden does not count. It is foolish to think that people can do a better job than the person in charge when that person has no experience or understanding of what the full job responsibilities are.
I mean I said for months pre-draft that MO was going to regret taking MHJ over Nabers, so I frankly believe these numbers
To be fair, 79.2% of fans also think they’re a better coach than JG and better QB than Murray.
I dont know if I can do better than Monti.. but I KNOW I can do better that Michael Bidwill
It would be infinitely easier to build a winning team than Monti “I’d rather cut all my players and have a shit ton of dead cap as opposed to trade them” Ossenfort
I love it when we beat the cowboys, in a any context
Do I think I could do a better job in a vacuum? Probably. With Michael Bidwill breathing down my neck and shitting all over my every day decision making? Absolutely not.
