  1. just for the record it’s FAR from just the Jets who “can’t get the Qb right”. There’s a REASON why there’s only like 8-10 GM’s who wouldn’t answer the phone from another team inquiring about their Qb’s availability. I mean,Miami is STILL trying to replace Marino.

  2. Loved all the takes, guys, except for Max's. Remind me to never hire you for anything, like Glenn did for Mougey, since you recommend Mougey's draft strategy should be centered around potentially back-stabbing Glenn in the future. I'm guessing they are working collaboratively during the FA and draft process with the expectation of success in building a perennial playoff contender.

  3. 37:45 ABSOLUTELY 💯 SADIQ IN FIRST(TRADE BACK, TAKE AT 16,TRADE UP FROM 33 EITHER WAY CANT GO WRONG ) IF HE SLIPS THROUGH OUR FINGERS V THEN KOZIAL FROM HOUSTON WAS BEST PASS CATCHING TE IN BIG12 & COULD BE A REAL NFL LATE RD GEM

  4. as far as TE goes, who’s to say that Taylor isn’t a TE1?? Him and Ruckert might be good “enough” for NOW??? What team has 2 All Pro TE’s?? Not saying the jets HAVE THAT at the moment but Taylor COULD BE???

  5. We need to stop with this “Mougey/Glenn getting fired” nonsense. Glenn MAYBE (I personally think he’s going to have a solid year) but depending on THIS draft,he’s not going anywhere. Then HE can hire HIS Head Coach kinda like how all the GOOD Franchises do it. 🤪

  6. 39:40 – Don't take Reese hot take. Good analysis. Imo, the cleanest, unquestionable pick is Tate so I hope Jets pick him at 2. If it's doable to pick him at 6, at 2 it's close enough.

  7. Jets have a history of taking risky out the box pics. NFL draft history vault is full of video of Jets fans dreading unknown players that were failures (eg Becton, Coples, TE Brady.) Take the safe pic in Tate & at 16 take edge. Odds are a good edge will be available at 16

  8. Completely disagree not taking Reese bc you’re “scared” people make it seem he has no floor I can argue he has a higher floor than Bailey 😂 Reese has superstar written all over him

  9. -Tate or tradeback 2 , the Edges being pushed up are artificially up bc in this years draft vacuum other spots suck QB TE RB all have bad classes, So Edges have been artificially raised. WR CB LB class is deep, grab WR CB 1/2rnds LB mid rnds unless an edge drops far

  10. Its amazing the conclusions you guys make about what these men these men think about prospects simply based on what YOU think about a prospect. The audacity. These men put more time energy and resources into evaluating these players. The draft is an inexact science and even the best GMs are wtong more often than they are right about draft prospects. 4th, 5th, and 6th round picks often do not make NFL rosters.

  11. So if I’m understanding this correctly the Jets are going to screw up the draft are going to win 5 games and everyone is traded or fired and we have the 8th pick in 2027 and no QB1

  12. I completely agree with Paul’s take on Simpson at 33. I’m not against them drafting him as long as they believe in him and that’s why they’re picking him. Not because he’s a quarterback he fell to 33 and he’s available.

  13. Good stuff, fellas. Well done. Just what I wanted at this point in the process. Max's point about the selection of Reese at two was very thought provoking.

  14. 26:45 Like taking rock-solid Wirfs instead of Becton, who was known to have weight issues? I would like to know if Max believes Sadiq should be the pick at 16 if the top WRS are off the board. Does taking Sadiq at 16 after selecting Mason Taylor in the second round of 2025 make sense for the team? It would be the follow-up question based on the premise of taking the best player at a spot where adequate depth currently exists.

  15. The guy saying don't draft Reece made a ton of sense. Why take a risk at 2 when Bailey is there already and what you hope Reece becomes.

Also, Cole Payton would make an excellent mid round gamble at QB as a developmental project and QB2 candidate.
