  6. The "big 3" at the top of the lineup may not be doing much, you know who is though? Dubón. Yastrzemski. Smith. That's how you have good baseball seasons. Those "bottom" 13 guys on your roster need to be good enough to pick up hapf the games where your "top" 13 don't get it done. Every single team has a handful of star players who are going to win them 50-60 games. The difference between the Dodgers and the Rockies is how good are the rest of your guys? Can they win you 40-50 of the other games where your stars dont carry you.

  8. Thoughts: Acuna 2026 Lollygag Total = 1: Not sliding back on PO move. MH2's plate discipline shown during Spring Training is gone (Only starter without a BB). Surprisingly, both Acuna and Olsen lead MH in SO rate per plate appearance. The MLB league average for OPS sits at .692. Baldwin is the only QUALIFIED Braves hitter above that. (Smith, Dubon and Yaz don't have enough ABs to be qualified). If two separate hitting coaches can't get the Braves "stars" to hit, it's maybe not a hitting coach problem, but a talent problem. Hitting of the team's core — not starting pitching — remained my concern through the entire offseason, and it's rearing its head for a third year. Meanwhile, Baldwin may be heading for an MVP season.

  11. I said it in the off season. Drake is our future! I like heim as a backup as well. Showcase Murphy for trade bait. Still early in the season and I trust our big 3 will pick it up.

  21. Is this guy ever positive? He rains on every parade and if it’s not 100% perfect he’s got some ridiculous take. How do you guys listen to this after a WIN? Always using gaslighting terms. Would hate to be married to this guy or watch him be “that Dad” at little league games.

  22. I find comfort in the fact that the Braves are winning series without their core players performing well. Just wait til the offense actually gets going…
