Carnell Tate is on the bottom end of the totem pole when it comes to this sub's wants with the number 5 pick in the draft but I just thought it would be good to keep the discussion open and these guys do a good job at analyzing film study.

  2. Yea there is no way I would take Tate at 5. He would be an option in a trade down maybe

  3. Pass. Not worth it at 5 even if we were desperate for wr. We can make do with room this year. Build out the lines more.

  4. This team needs defense more than anything. The Giants offense was decent last year even with a lackluster WR core. It’s the defense that couldn’t make a stop when needed. How many times can a defense blow a late game lead. The run defense was historically bad. Plus, Harbargh wants to run the ball more. Don’t overthink the pick and go with Downs or Styles. I even rather trade down a bit and take a guard over a WR at 5.

  5. Dude made a living in college in the intermediate and deep parts of the field, speed issues didn’t seem to show up in the games

  7. We don’t need a round 1 receiver yet. We have enough to make it work this year with likely, Theo, Mooney, Austin, hodgins, and theoretically an avg or better run game. We’re still rebuilding. Make this year about building up the trenches and harbaugh instilling a winning culture. If we don’t hit on a mid or late rounder next month- take one high next year. Nabers will be FULLY back from his acl (and closer to a contract extension)

  8. I get what they are saying but saying a 4.5 40 is whats lacking vs the top guys in the league is crazy. Ceedee, Puka, St. Brown, and prob even JSN + AJ Brown + Tet are all basically 4.5s.

  9. I’d rather have Lemon, based solely on talent. And he’ll be available later.

  10. Nabers could get hurt again and we would still have a better collection of targets at WR and TE than last year. It’s not urgent it just seems urgent when you don’t think about roster changes.
