  1. Let’s face it outside of Soriano the angels have a shakey pitching staff 😢 and pitching wins pennants. Arte won’t invest in top flight pitchers therefore expect more games like this one 😢😢😢

  2. Looks like our offensive strikeouts this year are even worse, than years past. There are no such thing as a good offensive strikeout! That's like saying there are good gutter balls in bowling🤷‍♂️. Offensive strikeouts prevent rallies and are rally killers. It can't get any better as long as GMPM keeps acquiring hitters that strikeout more than games played in their major league careers. Is it REALLY that hard to figure out!!!!

  3. To my mind, placing middling veterans in so many starting positions is an amazingly conventional (and lazy) approach that ensconces mediocrity by the very face of these components. Most teams must use a middling (statistically average) player or two for any number of reasons, often as a placeholder for a developing prospect. Yet, a team that has so many such players cannot possibly expect the overall team results to be anything but average. I suspect we will see this play out for many teams with lazy front offices, even despite increased payrolls (see the Pirates and Giants). The Angels are even further burdened by top-heavy payroll unproductivity, which is another symptom of continuous poor front office and/or ownership decision-making.

  4. Perry has no understanding of roster construction. Every season, the same old story…a roster full of holes and questionable acquisitions. When his time is done in Anaheim, he is going to have a hell of a resume full of last-place finishes and a farm system that is still rated as one of the worst in baseball.

  5. Idk what the hell happen but I left the game in the 6th I'm actually really sad about yesterdays game I've never gone to a game and we lost that bad but I will say cali boys don't do 34 weather

  6. I'm not sure why Zach Neto didn't throw that ball to first base by simply landing his left foot on second base, as he was throwing versus jumping over the runner and throwing off balance.

  7. You guys said it, 3-4 doesn’t look bad when you see who they played, however how they lost is what makes it frustrating and concerning. There seems to always be this talk about fundamentals, but they don’t seem to do what they preach.
