On April 1, 2025, the Kings honored Hall of Fame broadcaster Nick Nickson before his retirement at the end of the 2024-25 season. Nickson began as a color analyst alongside Bob Miller in 1981-82, and served as the voice of the Kings on TV and radio for 44 years.
