Today is the day the jackets playoff hopes and dreams die. It was a fun run until the last few weeks
Even if we only beat Carolina, we fully control the 3rd metro spot over the Islanders with an equal amount of games left between us.

Rooting for the wings instead of against them in this playoff race is certainly a change.

While this feels like a must win game, all is not lost with a loss, especially in OT. We hold the tiebreak over Philly and a reg. loss is still just 1 point behind NYI for metro 3 (2 points behind counting tiebreaks).
As a hurricanes fan i’ve gotta say that id certainly prefer the islanders over you guys in a playoff series.
