  1. Why the hell is Gibson getting his, what 14th straight start? Dude has carried this team on his back for the whole season. Seems tired now though. Give him a rest.

  2. I thought one thing Faulk said was very interesting its this time year not as many penalties, maybe thats why wings dont do well in March we are not good 5 on 5 team bread butter is pp

  3. Friendly reminder players have to actually want to play in Detroit for Yzerman to acquire them. Hardly anyone wants to play for an organization that’s missed the playoffs 9 years in a row and especially if the location is Detroit.

  4. They win tonight they get in the playoffs. If they lose probably not. This game will show if they want it. First 5 minutes will be shown if they try or don’t

  5. all lines need to be adjusted, larks needs to be knocked down from his position in the club, he isn't playing like he should, there is no sense of urgency and our defense is embarrassing, we are losing games that are being handed to us, THIS TEAM IS ATROCIOUS! DO BETTER

  6. There's no fucking reason to start Gibson again. It doesn't matter who our goalie is right now. They need to play at a level that makes whoever is in net irrelevant. I imagine we'll see no line changes either. If nothing is different about tonight, McLellan needs to be heavily criticized.

  7. Hockeytown is dead. This feels like how it must have felt for people in Quebec when the Nordiques left for Denver. We still theoretically have an "NHL team" in Detroit, but it isn't and likely never will be the team any of us actually fell in love with.

  8. Did anyone listen to Larkin in his last interview? The kid said he thought they played well and blamed lucky bounces on their loss. That's not leadership! As long as he's the captain this team is going nowhere. Put him on the fourth line as a wake up call, and trade him the minute the season ends.
