Falcons fans wishing it was still April 1st!

Do we think fan bases will always complain about a rebrand or is there actually a scenario where the majority is happy with a redesign?

I know we have our concerns with the rams revamp that’s coming down the pipeline… maybe I’ll be making this same post with the chargers jerseys in less than a month’s time.

  1. These are just boring. There’s nothing I dislike about them and nothing I like about them. Feels very create a team. 

    I hope the Rams retain a lot of what they have with their current uniforms. They went out of their way to give us something that really pops on TV and in person. Going to a muted uni like this would be a big loss for the franchise. 

  3. Falcons used to have the best jerseys in the league lol idk why people wanna mess with things that are great as is. I’m talking about the jerseys from like 2005

  6. I would not talk shit right now. The rams are currently kicking the can on a likely poor rebrand. In a week we might be wishing for these jerseys.

  7. Good god these are boring. But I’m refraining from talking shit about other unis until ours come out. Because you can’t assume anything with our marketing/branding department. I’m nervous for what ours will be.

  8. Yes, it is really hard to make fans happy. Take European soccer for instance, they release new kits every season and they almost always get panned. That doesn’t mean there aren’t bad designs, but making a whole fanbase happy will be virtually impossible.

  12. They’re not ugly, just boring. It’s sad that NFL teams keep getting saddled with either boring retreads or generic new kits.

  14. They’re not bad, but just plain looking. They do look better than the ones they had before. The number font looks more “normal” this time. The red jerseys kind of look like the ones from the Michael Vick era.

  15. These are better than their previous kit. Of course, that was a low bar to clear.

  16. They have the best colors in the league and had great uniforms in the 90s and 2000s. The changes just to make changes thing is crazy these days lol

  18. Most of the NFL rebrands that have been pretty much universally well received have been teams returning to their roots with throwback (or throwback inspired) sets. The Bucs, Browns, Bills, and Chargers all come to mind

  19. I don’t get why that team never goes back to playing in those red helmets they used to rock in the 70s and 80’s. It would make the Falcon logo pop out more
