1. Look at Soderblom in Pitt, he's a different player. He's been more productive and he dropped the gloves the other night, he never did that in Detroit. That might be a sign of a cultural issue.

2. The wings dont have talent. We are missing a true first line. Our first line is really a second line

3. Remember when we could've had, Robert Thomas, chinkov, marner, and worst of all QUINN HUGHES. We miss every big point guy available. The kids have been horrible

4. Has to be a leadership/locker room problem. Most of these young guys have been excellent seasons with Grand Rapids or in juniors the past few years, but have been slightly underwhelming when they get called up. I love Larkin and really thought he’d carry momentum from the Olympics into March but that just didn’t happen. I know he got injured, but his presence/leadership shouldn’t leave along with it. And even when is he playing, his demeanor after a loss never comes across as frustrated but focused. It’s sad and confused which doesn’t really seem to ignite a flame let alone a simple reaction from the locker room. Even as Todd is actively calling them out, the message seems to be missed by all.

5. The red wings themselves aren’t that young. At the rate this is going Larkin will be 45 by the time all the “prospects” that do hit are in the league. This is it for Larkin and co. Time for big roster change at the core, top 6, and D

12. To some extent, blame should be shared by all. However, Yzerman is who put this team together and deserves the lion's share of the blame. He's had seven years to get this right and has failed.

13. They werent playing over their heads when they were winning those games by a goal or two. The +/- says it all. They'd win by a goal and then get beat by 3 . Now that that they need that extra gear, they dont have it. Its the same team. The healthiest team in the league the entire season. Buffalo was was of the worst for man games lost. They just dont have another level. The last 5 to 10games the losses arent even close.

14. The wings grave was dug when we were beating FLA in regulation a month ago and choked. The first nail on the coffin was Ottawa loss. Then even more nails since. The final nail when we're mathetically out.
