Newest ESPN mock has KC taking Sadiq at 9 with Bain on the board 🤮

  1. I don’t want Mr. Historical T-Rex arms whatsoever… but taking Sadiq at 9 would be malpractice.

  2. This is from the same guy who said he would retire if Jimmy Clausen didn’t panned out in the NFL

  3. Sadiq screams Kyle Pitts to me. Lots of tools but not nearly enough production. I’d absolutely hate him at 9.

  4. I would be happy with Sadiq at 9 depending on how the board falls. Definitely not with Bain there. And it won’t happen because Veach is either going to pick Edge or Wide Receiver at 9.

  5. I can just see this happening. Everyone will claim that he’s the heir apparent to Kelce and how much he can learn and grow from him this season.

  6. Honestly if Mel kiper has a job, it shows you that anybody can get any job they want

  7. Media really doesn’t want Bain to the Chiefs lol.

I like where this is going.

  8. Kipper is a dumbass though so it’s meaningless. If Bain or Bailey are on the board at 9 it’s a pretty simple choice. I don’t think Sadiq is considered that good to pass on a top pass rusher. That choice won’t come back around

  9. I keep seeing Delane as our prediction which is better than Sadiq but I want Bain more we will see though I’ll trust it as long as it’s not sadiq

  10. So many draft heads are “oh.. star player left, must replace with first pick”. They can’t think beyond that.

  11. 95% of sports personalities on TV really are not good at their analysis of the sport or sports they cover. They look good on TV, paid some dues along the way and now we generally are stuck with them because names bring attention. I applaud Mel Kiper for making a career of this but picking Mock Drafts is a massively inaccurate process without having direct access to 32 NFL teams Scouting and GM Operations rooms input, which 0 would give so this is just a speculation form of entertainment until 23 APR.

  12. I wouldn’t hate it. I LOVE Sadiq as a prospect. Great size, speed, power, overall athleticism. Decent catch rate. Seems extremely willing to block.

  13. At a certain point they get bored and then switch the picks up to get more views, it’s really not a big deal

  14. It’s just rage bait for clicks. They are all so tired of the process at this point they don’t really care that much. It’s all the boredom waiting on the draft. It’s mostly the late round guys and potential UDFA types people are still evaluating.

  15. Sadiq was compared to Noah Fant by Sam Monson and Steve P last week, and I think that is spot-on.

Want no part of that at 9 and don’t think the Chiefs will either … especially not with Bain, and Tate, and Delane, and Mcacpy on the board.

They’d trade down out of 9 before using it on Sadiq IMO.

  16. lol. We hopefully won’t be picking at 9 for the foreseeable future. Need to take an elite edge, an elite receiver, and if those are not there when we draft we need to trade back and recoup some value from having a pick this high by getting value later in the first round and an extra pick next year. You should never reach in the draft, especially with a top 10 pick when you rarely are in this spot. I honestly wouldn’t mind trading back and then picking Sadiq with the 29th or whatever pick we trade back to.

  17. I wish I could be as bad at my job as Mel Kiper, and not only keep my job, but get paid well and be the “go to” expert while doing it.

  18. I personally don’t see that happening. If Bain is there at #9 then the Chiefs will take him IMO.
