  1. Skip is a moron.

Tatum has always been better than Jaylen Brown. Thats why he was the #1 option. Brown wasnt far behind, but he was behind, but tatum was almost always the guy who stepped up and carried the team in big moments when their backs were against the wall.

But Tatum GREW in to being that guy. When kyrie and Kemba were no longer there to carry the team these two young guys were expected to become leaders, and that took some time. Tatum was always the more gifted scorer so hr became the #1 guy

…but being in that position comes with challenges….suddenly opponents are gameplanning for you and throwing everything they have at you. So Tatum over time gradually developed his gsme to counter what defences were doing. Defences were pressuring him nore, so he improved his handle. Then defences were starting to trap and double him, improved his playmaking skills. Each year he developed a part of his game to help adapt to what defences were doing against him, and the result of thst is thet over time he developed into an all out superstar and perennial all nba 1st teamer.

JB was always great, but he wasnt the number 1 guy so he never HAD to make thise kinds of adjustments. The amount of attention tatum drew from defences made things infinitely easier for Brown, as it game him more room to operate.

Once tatum went down, tight from the start, i said the JB was not the guy AT THAT TIME to fill Tatums shoes. I said that what happend with the celtics this year will depend on how JB adjusts to that change in role and the extra defensive attention. If he fails to make the neccessary asjustments the celtics success will be limited.

But if he does what tatum did and starts to grow his game to overcome the defensive schemes, then he will become a much better player…and when Tatum comes back the Celtics will be monsters. That's exaxtly what happened. Brown didnt crumble under the weight of pressure. He embraced it, he worked on his game, and he took his game to that next level thst Tatum was previously on. Now Tatum and Brown are on the same level – both true superstars and MVP calibre players.

But to suggest that Brown was always this guy is disingenuous. In the past his ball handling skills were a limitstion. His playmaking skills were a limitation. He could win offensive matchups agai st good players, but not against grest ones. Those limitations are no longer there – they didbt magically disappear because hes getting the ball more, they went because he worked on those parts of his game and took himself to another level.

  2. Brown's assists since Tatum has come back has also went up. Scoring is not everything and the leading scorers dont usually win championships. cough cough Harden

  3. The media fails to understand that when a teams superstar has a championship mentality committed to the grind and are willing to die to do whatever it takes to it takes to win, the entire teams culture becomes that. That is why these teams still winning without games when the superstar is out, because itโ€™s engrained throughout the team, because thatโ€™s what the superstar leader does and holds the team to the same standard. You only understand that if you were actually part of winning teams as an athlete, even more so if you were the teams leader.

  4. Bro skip needs to go somewhere and stop fuckin hatting brown has been shooting twice as much as Tatum Tatum just shoots more 3s stop trying to divide these two and Tatum has to get his groove back fuck browns MVP a finals mvp and a ring is more worth it for the city and the team gtfoh skipp is trying to gaslight right now

  5. Skip trying to gaslight right now trying to divide these 2 fuck mvp a ring is more worth it with a finals mvp who cares who wins MVP when you get a ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’

  6. Since yall gon invite Skip I think yall should have him more often, Iโ€™d deff prefer him over Brandon. & Please can yall also invite Zach Lowe on the show as well? ESPN violated him & he give great opinion & analysis

  7. Brown had no left hand so he got better. It wasn't alwats there skip…and the celtics have been jacking 3s all season. Rashad dont know what he's talkin about
