We've all heard that Aiyuk wants to be here with JeDi5, AP made the statement that everyone deserves a second chance & not landing a starting WR in FA, even though they tried, leads me to believe that our Commanders believe that Aiyuk is coming. However, as an owner of a contracting business, I can tell you that nothing is definite until his new contract is signed.
   Any one thing out of a million things that we don't see coming could happen and we lose out on him. I know he wants to play with JD5, but as an example let's say, the Chiefs come along & offer the 49'ers a 6th Round Pick and tell Aiyuk that Mahomes is really excited to have him there and instead of a 1 year "Prove It" deal their going to give him a 2 year deal at $20M/year with $10M guaranteed or whatever # that entices him.
   I'd say give them a 7th Round Pick for some guy on their team rn that won't make their team by week 1. Then, release said player so the 49'ers can pick him back up and this way they could release Aiyuk & save face in the deal and we won't be on the hook for Aiyuk stupid contract. Or, do something else but just get him here. Please, don't sit back in the cut, trying to look cool and then find out someone was out hustling you from the smoky backrooms & secured him before you can.

21. Honestly, there is an argument for any one of several positions at 7. WR, CB, S, DE, RB, maybe even LB. Only 6 players are taken before we pick, that will determine the position taken more than need. You could argue WR, CB, and RB are the biggest needs, BPA might mean the other positions instead, or even trade down if they can find a partner and who they want to spend a #7 pick on is gone. If Bailey, Bain, Love, Delane, Styles, and Tate are gone, my bet is they trade down; Downs health issues too risky…look at Newton. However, a QB and olineman probably go top 6, so someone should be there. 7 needs to be blue chip; we hope we are never back that close to the #1 pick again, so this needs to count. I know, "Thank you Captain Obvious".
