I remember that being the Jim Leyland message
The superstars get a lot of well-deserved praise, but the borderline AAAA, strong work ethic guys become fan favorites without the stats on the back of a baseball card
Immediately cuts to prime empty seats behind home plate. Showing up at the bar.

Not a great look with all the empty seats lol
Inge was always a class act.
A lot of athletes in this city could stand to act this way (looking at you, the entire Detroit red wings)
We need more Brandon Inge. We brought in a lot of guys that used to play for us, where is Lance Parrish?
I see that they still haven’t solved the empty-seats-behind-home-plate problem. It’s opening day and the those seats are 80% empty. Come on man!
On a hot summer day when I was a kid watching some extra innings baseball, I got very tired and overheated and told my father “The next player to hit a home run will be my tiger forever.” And then Brandon Inge immediately belted one to walk off the game. He will now forever be my tiger.
Wings need to take some notes.
That was something Leyland instilled in his teams. Respect the game and respect the fans. Show up every night because these people are spending their hard earned money to watch.
“Tail”. Please STOP with that. Sounds so dumb.
