  2. The offense continues to actually be pretty good for a 5th place-projected team. I know 4 runs on 8 hits isn’t really worth throwing a parade or anything, but given the expectations I figured this lineup would be gruesome to watch, and it really hasn’t been. I certainly like watching it more than I liked watching our hitters most of 2025.

    The rest of the team is a significant travesty better left undiscussed. Another Junior error? Is he going for the record like his GIDP fixation last season?

  8. Errors, bases loaded walk(S), grand slam for the other team. Perhaps we need to update the ingame bingo card for 2026.

  9. This team will not win as long as they continue to get abysmal defense from the left side of the infield. The pen isn’t full of enough swing and miss to overcome that

  13. This team fucking sucks, like outside of Aranda and Yandy what even is this team. Junior has been a fatass who can’t field a ball and Cedric Mullens has been a great pickup with his .03 ba. We haven’t even gotten to a game yet where yandy and aranda don’t play…

  14. Separately. Neander is constantly trading with the White Sox who is the only reason we don’t have the worst ERA or most runs scored against them. Coincidence?

  16. This season is looking rough. I really thought on paper we would be better. Between the defense and our bullpen just……… sucking so far, it’s been rough.

    I do think if we can make those two adjustments we will be fine. The offense is solid, dare I say Fortes is off to the best catcher start I can remember. The starting rotation is doing well, Boyle has been above MY expectations, and after an awful spring Martinez threw a solid game 1.
