According to John Kosko of PFF, Harrison is Arizona’s most valuable trade asset. His reasoning isn't because he's been a bad player, but more so because he has a ton of value around the league.

“It’s been a disappointing first two seasons for the 2024 No. 4 overall pick. Coming out of a wide receiver factory with strong name pedigree, Harrison looked like a slam-dunk prospect.

“Inconsistent quarterback play has played a role, but other top-tier receivers — such as Malik Nabers, Drake London and Garrett Wilson — have produced early in similar or even worse situations. While Harrison likely has better football ahead of him, the Cardinals’ current roster situation may warrant maximizing his value before his trade market declines.”

  1. Nope, nope, we’re not starting this with our wr1 of the future, he will play out his rookie contract at least unless we get a godfather insane offer

  2. I don’t hate it. His value is still heavily based on perceived potential (which has not dropped) rather than production (which is currently low) and if we can exploit that then we come out on top.

We already have receivers who have currently produced higher than what their potential seemed to be in Wilson and McBride and you can draft an MHJ-like prospect seemingly in every other draft.

I also remember reports that Monti and the scouting team actually viewed Nabers higher than MHJ during the draft process but were swayed into taking MHJ because of media pressure/owner interference.

  3. I am beginning to hate this franchise. I need to move back to Denver

  4. It’s too early to trade him but if he has a bad season again I can see the Cardinals having trade discussions next offseason and making Michael Wilson the focal point of the offense and then signing a #2 WR in Free Agency next year like Josh Downs or Tank Dell.

  5. It is so weird to me how half this fan base wants to give up on the 4th over all pick 2 years ago, his rookie season was ok and he got super unlucky with injuries. Sure he had the drops but let’s see what a new coaching staff can do. By all accounts he’s a hard worker.

There is literally zero reason to trade him, you’re not getting a 1st and he has 3 more years of contractual control. And we still need a second WR at worst.

So just trade him on the cheap, and get a WR in the 3rd or so? Just seems like something a bad organization would do

  6. YES. 100%

He has serious confidence problems. No, its not coaching. You can see him become frightened when thrown to. Bro has the yips or something.

Notice how switching to JB had no affect too. Mike & Mcbride exploded but Marv cant shake it.

Trade for a late 1 or a 2? Do it

  7. Ok but with the emergence of Michael Wilson and MHJ having the yips, someone might overpay for him thinking they can fix him and get a WR1. This team has needs everywhere. If he has another bad year we’ll be throwing around the “b” word.

  8. So according to a guy who’s evaluating players’ trade value, not the team. Got it.

  9. I don’t think anyone is going to offer a first-round pick for him this month. Anyone remotely interested would be better off waiting until after this season, when they could probably pick him up for a late 3rd-4th round pick.

Anyone who thinks with the Cards QB corps Marv is going to have a pro-bowl worthy season…well…bless their heart. Maybe the God who pays attention to football and helps teams win is listening and will ‘make it so’.

  10. This would be heinous asset management. And therefore I would not be surprised if we did it.
