(SNY) Aaron Judge says he still flexes during roll call in honor of Brett Gardner

“I’m still hoping he gets a chance to come back here and share his knowledge with the boys a little bit. I always paying him a little credit if he’s tuning into the games watching”

  1. Give Gardner a plaque. He’s clearly regarded as an unofficial captain and maybe the greatest Yankees defensive OF of all time.

  2. I will never forget him banging that dugout.. Hicks trying to hide his immediate laughter… Boone stone cold chirping the Umpire..

    Classic clip

  3. I don’t think this city is ready for Manager Gardy. He might actually fight an umpire on the field after a bad call.

  4. Love that but somebody tell Judge they don’t show this on the broadcasts though even if Gardy was watching

  5. Really shows how much of a glue guy Old man Brett and CC were to those teams after the baby bombers started coming up. Great Mentors who kept team culture going strong

  6. I’m not crying, there’s just someone chopping onions near me… 🥲🥲🥲

  7. Deserves to be given a proper send off. Maybe a Brett Gardner day. On the team since 2007, I think. He earned it.

  8. Was my favorite Yankee since 2009. Underrated and what a value for his salary. A lot of fans didnt know what they had with him

  9. Best baseball game memory was watching him hit that inside the park homer against the twins in the ‘09 home series in like early may

  10. Not sure if he’d ever want to manage, but I’d love to have him as the next manager at least, but in some role. Dude is a class act and Yankee to his core.

  11. The day he comes back he is going to get the loudest ovation we’ve heard in a very long time

  12. Weird, I was just thinking about Gardy today and now I see this. I hope he’s doing okay after losing his son.
