We have 4-way tie at 88 points. Who’s taking the last boarding pass?

  1. I think red wings will get in the WC.

I also would say either the flyers or CBJs will finish 3rd in the metro.

  2. I have zero faith in Columbus or Detroit to perform under pressure and although Ottawa can and has done that, their injuries and locker room issues are a huge problem. So my vote is for Philly

  3. An extra wrinkle is Columbus and Philly are both a point behind the Islanders(77 GP) for the 3 spot in the Metro.

  4. Channeling my inner ‘98 Wings and saying “Believe”. Obviously, it isn’t the same. But I have to believe they can do it, even though the team has choked it away the last few years 😫

  5. The Islanders are at 89 points and only one point above these teams. They aren’t home free either.

  6. A week ago I would’ve said Columbus easily to finish second in the metro. Now they look so outmatched it’s insane.

I think the Sens get in

  7. Hoping Ottawa! Their injuries have been terrible for them to navigate though and the goaltending is hit or miss. Granted anything can happen so long as you get in

  8. Ottawa or Detroit

Columbus is in a free fall and Philly has Rick Tocchet driving that bus.

  9. There’s a chance the 6th place team in the Atlantic finishes ahead the 3rd place team in the Metro and misses the playoffs.

Really need to go back to 1-8.

  10. Please don’t forget that we are also crashing the fuck out with 4 losses in a row 🙂

  11. Sens and Flyers. (Isles out. They are actually really bad and only here because Sorokin was the league’s best goalie by a mile for 60% of the season.)

  12. Columbus fading like they are and the Oilers surging on the back of Bouchard should put a serious dent in Werenskis Norris bid, at least it would if the voters stayed up to watch Bouch play and not just catch lowlights every few months.

  13. Columbus might lose out tbh. Clearly the hot streak earlier was a fluke. It’s such a let down.

  14. The sens.

They’re currently playing with a depleted D core and still are winning games.

If they get decent goaltending these last few games they’ll pull ahead

  15. What a crazy exciting playoff race in the eastern conference. Be a fun last week and half of games, lots of teams in this race trying to out lose each other right now and need to right the ship

  16. Leafs eliminate the Sens from WC contention in the last game of the season. Book it.

  17. I’ve been thinking Flyers for a while now, and they’re still not out yet. However, I think they will be 3rd in their division vs a wildcard. I imagine the Jackets will make it too, and also be top 3 in their division. At the beginning of the season, the majority of people didnt have Pitts or NYI in the playoffs. Philly and CBJ were both on hot streaks lately, so they will probably pass them. Pitts, CBJ, and Bos as well have been playing over their heads.

  18. Wow. Going to be very interesting to see who is left standing. Shame that some good teams are going to miss the playoffs

  19. Sens would be a lock if not for all the injuries. They literally just need average goaltending and some help on D. Hopefully Sanderson is back.

  20. God I fucking love hockey

Boston. You better stay in a fucking playoff spot istg

  21. Looking at the Redwings and Sens, I hate the loser point even more. A loss in overtime/shootout, is still a loss. Redwings shouldn’t be below them and have 1 more win at the same time.

  22. Now look at the pacific and how pathetic that whole division is.

We need t change who gets into the playoffs.

  23. I’ll pick the Blue Jackets, they just missed it last year and I feel like they can do it this go round.

  24. Hopefully Red Wings, but I most likely see CBJ. Philly has the easiest remaining schedule though. CBJ’s have a couple of tough matchups, but they at least get the B’s and Cap’s at home to end the season.
