  1. Football is the sport where athleticism matters the most. Compared to most sports, being big and explosive is very very important, and skill less important relative to other sports.

    That said – if he hasn’t played much in his youth, it’s very hard to learn the skills necessary to compete at a high level. He’s going to need to be a freakishly fast learner to ever be good at the pro level, which is just unlikely statistically
