Somebody said Cooper averages 5 more shots per game. If you take Kon’s percentages, he would average 5-6 more points per game if he got as many shots as Cooper does. He would average 24-25 ppg. The fact that the Hornets play team basketball and have 4 players averaging close to 20ppg does hurt his chances at ROTY. Thankfully the voters also view the advance analytics and all the advance stats point to Kon being more impactful to winning games.
