What a tiny sample size reveals about the huge potential of the 49ers’ D-line

DL looking real nice: Mykel-Osa-Alfred-Bosa with keion, CJ West rotating in would be very nice tbh. Would love to work on the pass defense instead of EDGE round 1
Touting Mykel’s double team rate as if that is production is sad.
Adding a pass rushing specialist in the draft would be great. I think that’s one of the targets at 27. That or WR.
The only “huge potential” about the DL is the draft capital spent and nothing about what they’ve actually shown.
David Lombardi is such a homer, it’s sad.
He really doesn’t think he’s a glazer.
DT is among the hardest positions to transition into the NFL, it normally takes 3-4 years to fully develop unless you’re a freak like Aaron Donald. So if Collins and West continue to grow, it could become a scary unit. Only problem is the 49ers routinely develop these DT’s but never pay them, so other teams see the benefits of all the teaching and their hard work. Feel like we’ve seen 4-5 DT’s develop and then move to a new team once they’ve become quality NFL players.
