Predicted to go to… Boston?
He probably could have been what Jokic is today. Maybe not as good of passer but better defender.
He would have played center and feasted on smaller defenders plus have more space with better shooters
Was he a three level scorer?
He never really shot the three, but who knows how he would’ve adapted to today
More than most dudes in the league, Duncan’s arms really felt like they went on forever whenever he stretched for those dunks.
It’s incredible how much athleticism his early career knee injuries robbed him of…even in ’03 he wasn’t as athletic as he is here…
Imagine a younger Timmy next to Wemby. Man….
First time I watched Duncan live vs Shaq and the Lakers as a rookie. First possession down low, Timmy shakes and throws in a left handed baby hook over Shaq. Not that a big a deal. Plenty of guys can do that. However, as they ran down the floor, Timmy patted Shaw on the butt- yeah I’m here now big fella.
As a Spurs fan from the Philippines the 1st time I actually saw TD play was the ‘96 Dream Team vs USA Select. There was this play when he got the offensive rebound and dunked on I think it was Malone and Barkley. It was ilke wth just happened! And I’m a Barkley fanboy. It was that time that I knew he was going to be that dude.
And some cats think Timmy wasnt ever athletic. 🤣🤣🤣
