  1. The Leafs cannot finish 3rd worst or worse. If they finish 4th or 5th worst, they run the risk of getting bumped if a better team wins the lottery. Your "tank" talk is somewhat knee-jerk and superficial: how would you "tankers" feel if the Leafs finished 4th last, then get bumped to the 6th pick? A defensible approach (which you seem to ignore) is finish as high as possible, get the "Boston" liability off the books, and start anew.

  2. These bums will lose the 1st round pick… Because NerdLander, Knies and Dork Tavares only care about getting points! All those players have contracts by the way… Like why don’t these guys want to get a stud pick and make your team better!?!?!? LOL this team will drive you nuts so many ways it’s not even funny.. If they keep this BS up I can see myself saying F this team.. I mean I’ve only been a fan since 87.. joke of a franchise.

  9. Bunkis using the term " Backwards logic". That is exactly his point of view on anything and everything. It takes on to know one. You use that point of view in every perceptions of your views

  12. Usually it's actually considered logical and good planning to prefer money in the future than right now and also when the Leafs could very easily end up finishing bottom five the next two years, it could easily end up being worse to get a top five pick this year.

  13. Nylander was invisible. Atrocious play on his part with a minus 4. When the puck goes the other way he stops skating and spectates. Only interested in straddling the blue line hoping for a breakaway. Extremely lazy and selfish player. Leafs need to trade him.

  14. Bunkis is short sighted and doesn't understand the logic with not getting a top 5 pick this season. If we win the lottery sure then I'm fine with keeping our pick. How ever, this team is BAD and they will be next season. Sorry but I don't like the idea of our next 2 picks being completely unprotected. Especially if we're just picking 5th. If we were gonna tank we should have done it way earlier to give ourselves a real chance at a top 3 pick
