2. Teams have learned that how to beat Andy is to drop 7-8 players into coverage and only rush 3-4, mahomes has to hold the ball.. so pass rushers can hit home..

4. Chiefs defense is no bueno. Chris Jones is washed. L'Jarius Sneed is not the same player. I'm not mad at this if they're all in on winning another sb now. If they are looking to rebuild the foundation of this team then they need to commit to it 100%. It feels like theyre trying to do both when all that does is prolong the process of getting Mahomes a legit chance at another ring in the back half of his career. Either go all in now, or stack as many draft picks as you can this year and next. Once you trade McDuffie you need to be about the future though. Clearly the front office is not confident in their chances to win it all next season or they wouldnt of traded him but they dont want the fanbase to think pragmatically. Because that results in a loss of interest and loss in revenue. No fan gets excited about a rebuild or two year strategy.

6. It wouldn't be a huge surprize to see the Chiefs trade up to grab their choice at DE earlier in the draft. They have extra picks to make that possible rather that paying for a veteran starter band-aid that might work for a year. A trade up makes more sense or to simply go with best available regardless of position for max picks.
