  1. There is something putrid and gloomy going around in the locker room and I, for one, am not a fan of it.

  2. Annoying, but I’d rather it happen on a Skenes day than some other guy. Onward, win the series tomorrow.

  3. I mean if we were going to lose one, it’d be the Skenes. But fuck that 8th inning was brutal

  4. Was kind of hoping they’d beat Skenes because I’m still mad about ROY two years ago, but oh well. Get the series win tomorrow

  5. Time to ease the frustration and fire up The Show and score like 80 runs with Shoei Darvish pitching.

  6. If miller is gonna be the only bullpen arm we can rely on you might as well sell players now.

  7. I couldn’t watch the game. Was Morejon tipping his pitches or just off? I can’t remember the last time I saw Morejon get lit up like that.

  8. Name a more expected combo than former reliever turned manager, now leaves relievers in way longer than her should.

  9. Also I will say I watched a game at petco, Merrill caught a fly in cf and him and tatis stared at each other until the next pitch got thrown, idk seemed weird

  10. Well, on the bright side we are not doing as bad as other teams around the league. I have confidence we will figure it out as it’s still early on in the season. Skenes on the bump with us slumping was bound to have this outcome

  11. Not necessarily mad *that* they lost with Skenes it was always going to be an uphill battle. But I am pretty frustrated with *how* they lost. Did not like the look of that 8th inning, and defense hasn’t been great all season honestly.

Ah well win tomorrow and all of a sudden a 4-2 road trip looks great, and even going 3-3 on the road would be pretty decent, just hope they make sure they come locked in to face the Rockies at home.

  12. Not worried about Morejon, but I am worried about Tatis. He is in year 7 of the big leagues and is still guessing when he gets up to the plate. His strike out in the 8th inning was just sad to watch as a slow off speed pitch just sat in the zone for strike 3. Someone needs to tell Tatis that we would gladly take him striking out more if he just decided to become a dead pull hitter and get back to even 30+ homeruns.

  13. Defense has been putrid. Either way, good pitching battle between skenes and pivetta. Let’s take that series tomorrow

  14. If we lost by one, I’d just be glad we kept it competitive against Skenes. But that fucking 8th inning lol. We gotta shore up our infield defense.

  15. I don’t know if that other guy from the other day switched beers, but I did not switch hats tonight….. this loss is partially on me. I’m sorry compadres

  16. Xander taking Skenes deep gives me hope.

Insert “don’t do that, don’t give me hope.”

  17. Adrian was defintiely tipping. His stuff is too good for them to knock him around like that. Oh well, win tomorrow and we’re solid

  18. Nonstop mistakes from our fielders. Could’ve ended it multiple times. Shake it off and get em tomorrow.
