Just under three years ago, we premiered Pride of Detroit Direct—our premium, email-based newsletter that has bonus Detroit Lions content, including in-depth analysis, film breakdowns, and exclusive video podcasts. It’s been a while since I’ve talked about Pride of Detroit Direct on the website, and I figured now—with the NFL Draft a day away—would be a good time to remind you about the service.
In short, it’s a place for more Lions content and a variety of viewpoints. I (Jeremy Reisman) provide a little more of an editorial edge in weekly columns for the newsletter, but we also have guest writers. The outstanding Ty Schalter provides his own weekly columns, and we’ve had in-depth statistical and flim analysis from people like Jon Ledyard and Brett Whitefield as part of our regular offerings.
