The Boston Celtics are set to take on the Philadelphia 76ers in a decisive Game 7 to be played at their own home arena of TD Garden this Saturday (May 2) evening. The contest will happen after Boston blew a 3-1 lead in their 2026 NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs first round series with bad shooting and familiar mistakes.

The Celtics will be looking to avoid an embarrassing early exit after a regular season of exceeding expectations. And on the other side of the court, the Sixers will be looking to finish off what would be one of the bigger upsets in postseason play in several years — and recent Celtics history. We expect a Boston win, but only if they return to the style of play, rotations, and accountability behind their success this season.
