Penn State got its 2027 recruiting class started in late March with a commitment from Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Dillard cornerback Semajay Robinson, giving associate head coach and cornerbacks coach Terry Smith a notable win with one of his top targets.

Fast forward to early May and three more cornerbacks have joined Robinson in Penn State’s 2027 recruiting class, which consists of 14 recruits in total and ranks in the top 10 nationally according to the 247Sports Team Composite. Robinson is excited by the way Penn State is building its first class under head coach Matt Campbell and continues to talk to the staff in State College frequently, but other schools have come calling during the spring contact period and Robinson has not shut the door on them.

With that, official visits elsewhere are in the works.
