New head coach Jose Fernandez made news last week when he said the Wings will make the American Airlines Center their game day home this time next year, according to our media partners, The Dallas Morning News. The Wings spokesperson said that the contract is technically still in the works and the team will announce plans when finalized.
Of their 22 home games in 2026, three will be played at the AAC.
The Wings were already planning to move into their new practice facility in Oak Cliff next spring. The Wings have previously announced plans to make Memorial Auditorium in downtown Dallas their long-term home starting in 2028. It’s unclear if that is still on schedule.
