Final Injury Report for Tempo-Sparks: Will Ariel Atkins, Julie Allemand Play?

The Los Angeles Sparks are at home on Sunday night as they host the Toronto Tempo in an interconference matchup.

In Friday’s victory over the Tempo, Kelsey Plum led the way for the Sparks as she recorded 27 points and nine assists while Nneka Ogwumike added 20 points, five rebounds and three assists of her own.

Now Los Angeles will try to grab another victory at home on Sunday as they face off against the Tempo once again.

On the other side, Toronto enters Sunday’s contest with a 1-2 record after losing on the road to the Sparks on Friday night.

Brittney Sykes led the way for the Tempo in Friday’s loss as she ended the game with 27 points, four rebounds and seven assists while Nyara Sabally recorded 14 points, nine rebounds and three assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Sunday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

For the Tempo, they have three players listed on their injury report, including both Julie Allemand and Isabelle Harrison.

Toronto has ruled out Allemand due to a left hip injury that caused her to exit Friday’s loss to the Sparks as she will miss her first game of the season.

The Tempo have also ruled out Harrison due to a right hand injury that she suffered during training camp as she will miss her fourth straight game.

Temi Fagbenle has also been ruled out with a right shoulder injury as she will miss her fourth consecutive contest.

Sparks Injury Report: Will Ariel Atkins Play?

On the other side, the Sparks have two players listed on their injury report, including guard Ariel Atkins.

Los Angeles has ruled out Atkins due to a concussion as she will miss her second straight game as she is still in concussion protocol.

The Sparks have also ruled out Sania Feagin as she will miss her second consecutive contest with a left leg injury.
