After winning their first game of the season against the Connecticut Sun (1-5) go for a second straight. That win came on the road two days ago against the Seattle Storm (1-4) in an 80-78 nail-biter. The Connecticut bench stole the show, combining for 62 points, led by the rookie trio of Charlisse Leger-Walker (16 points), Nell Angloma (15 points), and Raegan Beers (10 points and eight rebounds). Veteran Kennedy Burke came off the bench for 15 points on 3-for-5 shooting from three. Aaliyah Edwards was the only Connecticut starter to score in double figures with 12 points and four rebounds in the win.
