With Benhart leading the way between the goal frame, SDSU continued its dominance on the pitch in 2025.
The junior goalkeeper started all 20 matches during her debut season with the Jacks, posting a 0.71 goals against average, .859 save percentage and 12-3-5 record.
Benhart’s eight saves against Wyoming on Sept. 8 were the most by any Jackrabbit keeper since 2019, and her 85 total saves were the ninth most in a single season in SDSU history.
The Jacks finished 13-3-6 and went on to claim their third straight Summit League tournament title after defeating top-seeded Oral Roberts 2-0 in the final. It’s the ninth conference tourney crown in program history.
In the end, Benhart was named Summit League Goalkeeper of the Year and was a first team all-conference selection. The 5-foot-11 native of Lakeville, Minnesota, will look to build on her performance this upcoming fall after transferring to SDSU from Wisconsin Green Bay ahead of the 2025 season.
