LIMA, Ohio – The Lima Junior Golf Association returned from its one-week break Tuesday with the Webb Insurance Open at Hidden Creek Golf Club.
Shawnee’s Ashton Wright captured the boys title with a 6-under 66, his second win of the summer. St. Marys’ Hayden Roby finished second with a 67, followed by Ottawa-Glandorf’s Alex Bellman at 4-under. Lincolnview’s Bosten Bailey placed fourth at 2-under, while Fort Recovery’s Reece LeFevre shot a 73.
In the girls division, Botkins’ Marian Nagel won with a 6-over 78, defeating Jefferson’s Brylee Geary in a playoff. Bath’s Aubrey Gerten finished fourth.
Lima Junior Golf continues Thursday at Delphos Country Club.
