Livvy Dunne has become one of the most recognizable names in American sports, with over 10 million followers across her social media channels.
The former gymnast and Sports Illustrated model, who is gearing up to make her acting debut on FOX’s upcoming reboot of the ’90s mega-hit series Baywatch, first came to prominence in 2020, when she amassed a large following on TikTok with videos focused on her life as an NCAA student, as well as her impressive athletic skills.
With a growing following comes significant public interest in Dunne’s private life, and while the social media star has called out photographers for invasive behavior, she has shared a glimpse with her fans into her relationship with fellow athlete Paul Skenes.
Livvy Dunne Is in a Long-Term Relationship With Baseball Player Paul Skenes
Dunne has been in a relationship with Major League Baseball (MLB) player Paul Skenes, who has played as a pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates since his professional debut in 2024, having previously played college baseball for the Air Force Falcons and Louisiana State University Tigers.
The couple met when they were both students at Louisiana State University (LSU) in 2023, where Dunne was a member of LSU’s gymnastics team. Dunne retired from professional gymnastics in 2025, while Skenes made his professional debut the previous year,
Dunne and Skenes, both 23, have been in a relationship since at least 2023, when Skenes confirmed in an interview with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that they were dating, when discussing how their respective recognizability makes privacy difficult.
“I do wish she could come to a baseball game and just enjoy it. It does irk me. I don’t have any control over it. She really doesn’t either,” Skenes told the outlet. “I’m sure it’ll get better as I go up levels, but that’s something I want for her.”
However, in a recent interview with People from February 2026, Dunne said she is now a frequent attendee at her boyfriend’s games. “I’m trying to go to as many baseball games as I can,” she said. “I really just enjoy watching him and he’s always on the go.”
When asked by the publication about how they’ve made their relationship work over the past three years, the model responded, “We don’t restrict each other from doing things,” she shared, explaining, “I’ve been in relationships in the past like that — where it’s almost like you have a leash on you, you can’t do anything.”
“But he has a job to do and I have a job to do — I know that’s so important for two young kids in a relationship to realize,” she added. “So yeah, we just have a good time and it’s a two-way road.”
