Deebo Samuel reportedly is on his way back to the 49ers on a one-year contract, but whether or not the wide receiver will make an impact during the 2026 NFL season remains to be seen.
Still, San Francisco desperately needs depth at the position, and who doesn’t love a little nostalgia — especially when it comes by way of a former All-Pro?
Most of the 49ers Faithful was happy to hear there once again would be “19 Problemz” in the Bay, though there certainly are a few questioning the decision by San Francisco’s front office. Here are some of the best reactions:

Bringing Deebo back is going to have the same energetic effect on offense that bringing Greenlaw back is going to have on the defense.

Niners super unlucky with Pearsall but equally lucky that a player like Deebo was just hanging out on the market.
He’s not the same guy anymore but he’s still a worthwhile player — especially in a Kyle Shanahan offense.

We’ll see what happens with Deebo this season, but I do agree with one thing that I heard someone say…
Deebo brings an attitude and a swagger back to SF that I think was missing last season.
He’s a bully, and the 49ers need to go back to being bullies.
