BOISE, Idaho — Boise State men’s golf is a recipient of the 2025-26 PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award, it was announced on Wednesday by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).
Across six divisions in college athletics, 331 schools earned the PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award, setting a GCAA record. Among the recipients, 88 NCAA Division I institutions, including Boise State, posted a 3.5 or higher cumulative team GPA last year and were recognized on the Presidents Special Recognition list (3.5+ GPA).
Collectively, the Broncos notched a 3.579 GPA, with seven of nine student-athletes posting a 3.5 or higher. Ryan Meyer earned a perfect 4.0 while Luke Cushman, Chase Gorder and Cole Rueck each had 3.9 GPAs.
The Mountain West had representation from three schools on the Presidents Special Recognition list. Nevada and New Mexico were among the schools who collectively garnered a 3.5 or higher GPA.
