It’s the biggest weekend of the year at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

NASCAR is in town for a full weekend of racing, featuring a doubleheader on Saturday and a big NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday.

Friday

Race Weekend kicks off with the Sig Sauer Academy Dirt Duels, which begin at 3:30 p.m.

Saturday

Doubleheader Saturday kicks off with the final regular-season race for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. The gate time for this race is 10:30 a.m., and the 175-lap race begins at 1:30 p.m. Four of the 10 postseason positions are still up for grabs, and 10 drivers remain eligible to claim those Chase spots.

The second event, the Mohegan Sun 100 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race, begins at 4:30 p.m. Former NASCAR Cup Series racer Ryan Newman, who won the 2008 Daytona 500, will be competing in the Mohegan Sun 100. Newman, nicknamed “Rocketman,” was named one of NASCAR’s 75 Greatest Drivers in 2023.

Sunday

On Sunday, the NASCAR Cup Series will hold its second-to-last regular-season race with the Dollar Tree 301, New England’s only Cup Series race, at the Magic Mile in Loudon.

Rain is possible for the race on Sunday. As a result, race officials have moved the start time of the race one hour earlier to 2 p.m.
